PTA Fundraising

Since September 2006 donations made by the PTA have enabled us to purchase and place orders for:-
1. £1450 Infant garden and playground development
2. £4,000 Curriculum resources
3. £520 Recorders and music books for current Y3 and current Y4
4. £147 Y6 Leavers book
5. £750 Playground benches
6. £70 Playground equipment
7. £400 Computer Suite benches
Planning permission for shading on the Infant Playground has just been approved and the PTA committee are about to make the final decision on the shading at a cost of £11,000.

Future projects for which we desperately need extensive funds are:
- a mobile trolley of 15-20 laptops to allow children more regular access to computers in addition to the computer suite - QUOTES ARE COMING IN!
- permanent shading structures on the junior playground and seating on the far side of the playground.

8. £2003 Curtains, blackout blinds for the stage.
9. (tbc) Yr6 Leavers books
10. £3409 (junior) Shading has now been erected in the infant playground (cost as above) and an awning in the junior playground (outside Mrs Owen's class).

The PTA Committee has been involved with the fundraising and purchase of shading and road layout in the infant playground, the electric canopy on the terrace in the junior playground, the amazing laptop computers for KS1 and 2 and the salad bar.

The hall has had a revamp with every window dressed with new curtains, new stage curtains for the annual concerts and a new "quiet" area in KS1. We've continued to support the concerts and school trips with refreshments, provided the children with presents for Mothering Sunday and Fathers Day and organised lots of fun competitions and family socials!
